2023 Cabernet Sauvignon

The combination of the soil and heat intensity of our site contributes to being able to produce a cabernet sauvignon that has small clusters and small berries. You will notice this attribute right away with the deep, dark, garnet color of the wine in your glass. On the nose you will pick up scents of baking spices and dark fruits. After aging in French oak for 22 months the primary flavors of this full-bodied wine are cassis, blackberry, anise, and tobacco. The plush, elegant tannins balanced with the dark fruit flavors are indicative of a fine wine meant for aging for years to come.
